Chores and rewards

Give chores a clear owner and a fair finish

A household runs on jobs that are easy to overlook until they are undone. Zamlora gives you a place to create chores, assign them to family members and review completed work. Everyone can see what they are responsible for, while chore points give effort a visible record. The goal is a calmer routine: fewer repeated requests, clearer expectations and a way to acknowledge the jobs that keep home moving.

01

Turn reminders into responsibilities

Create a chore with a clear task and assign it to the right person. Instead of relying on someone to remember a passing request, the work has a place to be found and checked.

02

Review before you reward

Completed chores can be reviewed, which helps parents and children agree on when a job is done. Chore points make the result visible without requiring a money value for every task.

03

Keep the household picture in view

See chores across the household and check what still needs attention. A shared view helps divide the ordinary work, notice a backlog and adjust assignments when family life changes.

MAKE IT PART OF YOUR ROUTINE

A useful place to start.

01

Choose a few useful jobs

Start with chores that recur in real life, such as putting away clothes or clearing the table. A short, understandable list is easier to use than an ambitious one nobody checks.

02

Assign and explain

Give each chore to a family member and make the expected result clear. Then everyone knows which task is theirs rather than guessing from a general household to-do list.

03

Review the result

Check completed work and use chore points to recognise it. Creating, assigning, reviewing and tracking chore points are part of Zamlora's Free feature set.

Talk to Zamlora
Do chores and points require Pro?
No. Zamlora includes chore creation, assignment, review and chore points in Free. Optional Pro adds money tools and more active chore capacity.
Can I use chores without paying children?
Yes. Points can record completed work without tying every job to pocket money. How you use points in your household is up to you.
Can completed chores become pocket money?
Pro includes tracking paid chores and pocket money records. These are household records; Zamlora does not transfer money between bank accounts.
What if a job is not ready to approve?
